Dreams Come True

This poem was written to portray how one feels when they think they've found "the one."

Never thought it would happen.
Didn't think it could come true.
I've fulfilled my dreams
Because I now have you.

I'd live for the moment
When I could see your smile.
I never would have thought
You'd be mine in awhile.

Wouldn't believe until I'd seen it.
All the dreams I found in you
Made my heart skip a beat
When I found out they came true.

To see you with someone else
Cut like fifty knives.
I adored you oh so much
But you didn't know I was alive.

I still would not give up.
I held tightly onto my wish
And couldn't comprehend the joy
When you gave me that first kiss.

At times I wanted to quit
Because I was feeling just too blue
But now I feel so glad I kept on goin'
Since I found out dreams come true.

I couldn't hope for more.
I have everything in you.
You're my entire world.
You're all my dreams come true.
