Fallen Sparrows

Have you ever prayed faithfully for something so intensely for so long that you wonder if God has ever heard you?

Have you ever experienced a hurt so deep that you wonder if God knows about it?

Have you ever just felt that God has forgotten you?

We've all been there.  There are those times when that divine Voice that guides, comforts and directs us falls silent.  Scripture contains many stories of saints who have searched desperately for God in the face of seemingly impossible circumstances.  Job.  Elijah.  David.  Yet is also in scripture that we learn there is not a single sparrow that falls to the ground without our Father's notice.  If He sees that, surely He sees us.  Unfortunately, our limited human vision can rarely see past our problems to the greater good that God is working in and through us.

Fallen Sparrows is the story of several people with various perspectives on this phenomenon.  They would hardly call themselves saints, but their faith is tested just the same.  Will they trust in the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen?  Will they give up on God, as some believe that He has with them?  One has.  One will.  The others are moved to help them, and in the process will find their faith stretched further than they thought possible, as well.

What follows is a chapter by chapter breakdown of the events of Fallen Sparrows.  Be warned, plot points and twists will be spoiled for anyone who wishes to read the full novel later.
