Ecclesiastes 3:1 - To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
Why? That is a question often asked by those in the midst of circumstances that bear no apparent rhyme or reason. That was the question Jeff Douglas asked when his wife vanished the morning after their wedding, leaving behind a note begging him not to follow. To Every Thing a Purpose is the story of Jeff and his bride Emily as they struggle to find meaning in purpose in the things God allows to happen to them. What results is a lesson so powerful, it impacts not only them but nearly everyone around them.
This site is designed to give both readers and publishers as much information as possible regarding this unique love story. The TETaP pages are organized as follows:
A relatively brief summary of the entire story. The whole page is pretty much a spoiler, so anyone wanting to be surprised by its events are warned to avoid this page. It is primarily aimed at publishers who may be interested in publishing the novel and want to see an outline before I send them the entire text.
Where did the idea come from? Read this page and you'll know.
